The South Carolina Hemophilia Assistance Program is a state-funded program for the purchase of blood products for persons with hemophilia or other congenital blood clotting disorders.
Who is eligible for service?
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Must have a household income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level or be enrolled in fee for service Medicaid or contracted Medicaid programs.
What is covered?
- Payment for blood products prescribed for home infusion
- Care coordination and related services, as needed.
