Join us on March 20, 2018 at 6:30pm in Columbia! For an educational outreach dinner event for young adults, with fun for all to follow dinner at Dave and Buster’s. We will explore ” The Road to Managing Health Care”, while we eat, laugh, share, and then leave to go have some fun for the evening.
For individuals ages 18-30+ years who have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder and women carriers of a genetic bleeding disorder.
Purpose: The purpose of the young adult program is to encourage the young adults in our community to connect with one another while provide networking opportunities, support and mentoring. We wish to foster our young adult program by offering opportunities that are catered to this age group. We believe that by offering networking opportunities, we will give our young adults a space to feel included.
Goal: To engage our young adult community members between the ages of 18-30 years old. Educational opportunities will be offered specifically to encourage our young adults to live high quality lives without boundaries through education in; health, jobs, work, insurance, advocacy, and to learn from one another by providing an encouraging, fun, safe and supportive environment.
